The result of this is that "hobbits" became "halflings" (and changed significantly in later editions to blur the connection further), "ents" became "treants", and "balrogs" became "balors".

Since Tolkien invented the word "mithril", this was also changed (to "mithral") even though it wasn't part of the suit. Most later non-Tolkien works have adopted a similar policy of not taking words directly from Tolkien's work - either out of direct fear of another lawsuit, or simply because that is the way things are done. Probably there's a grind spot somewhere (like the dungeons in Bard's Tale had).

Does this game have day and night circles? I remember Bard's Tale, which surely was an inspiration, got a lot harder during nights. Fortunately, you could easily reset this to morning by visiting the adventurer's guild. During day, even a level 1 party could win more than half of the fights and run away from the others.

Or probably you have to grind by class, if there are great differences at low level. This would mean gathering a full party of (i.e.) fighters, hope to level up maybe 2 of them, bury the rest and then try to bring 1 of 3 (maybe) rangers through with your now stronger party, etc.

Just wondering if there is any strategy hidden or if this game is just mean.sucinumhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14198771998880365061noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6162314467762792782.post-50745063977754150092018-12-10T12:44:02.158-05:002018-12-10T12:44:02.158-05:00I'm not sure how that page proves your asserti...I'm not sure how that page proves your assertion.
