I have fond memories of this game probably due to rose-colored "everything in youth is new and cool". I remember the game being frustrating, but, once you uncover a new skill or weapon, it felt like an accomplishment. He made it really far. He realized he could use a formula to dissolve walls and find secrets. At the start of the game we laughed at the lame weapons, like "swiss army knife". But, eventually the characters are using flaming swords, ray guns and other crazy stuff. He came close to beating it, but we got tired. I'm pretty sure he did beat it after I went home, but I guess the ending wasn't that good. B/c I don't recall what he said about it. But, I do remember the game seemed interesting. I watched him play Wasteland, SSI Gold Box games and Ultimas, and that's how I ended up buying them myself. I was remembering him playing this the other day (b/c he passed away recently), and though "I should find that game and play it". But, I think I'll just keep the fond memories. I don't want to play the game now and go "geez, what was so special about this?" and ruin my memories of him and I taking on challenges and having the time of our lives back then.blahblahblacksheepnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6162314467762792782.post-66433147176952555442021-10-06T17:16:11.869-04:002021-10-06T17:16:11.869-04:00A guy my father worked with died young with strang...A guy my father worked with died young with strange symptoms. When the police tested the thermos he brought to work every day, their readings turned up a massive amount of thallium. Turned out his wife had putting tiny amounts of rat poison into his coffee for over a year so that she could cash in his life insurance and run off with her lover.100FloorsOfFrightshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07625564667909827929noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6162314467762792782.post-3956800069146028382016-12-17T17:36:48.831-05:002016-12-17T17:36:48.831-05:00Here's the MANUAL
