On my way through the knights, I forgot to note what that one knight wanted. He never speaks about it again. The only follow up option is to present an item with the choice of essentially, "is this something you want?" to which he always replied, "no, I don't want that." By the time I'd received the gem cutter, I had forgotten about the knight completely.Zenic Reveriehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16441583549326102945noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6162314467762792782.post-29385030147401466242018-04-24T20:42:13.848-04:002018-04-24T20:42:13.848-04:00Well... seems to be the new normal. You talked a little about your conversation with one of the game's creators, and apparently he told you that TSR made up some new monsters for them to use for low to mid-levels, because there weren't enough in the books for them to keep players happy with variety. You hypothesized that mobats were one of the monsters they created for this purpose.

You definitely devoted at least a little thinking time there, so it's not that surprising that mongbats would trigger the old memory.
Malornoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6162314467762792782.post-28337942796737437102018-03-12T09:35:54.296-04:002018-03-12T09:35:54.296-04:00It's probably more realistic too, to wear some...It's probably more realistic too, to wear something lighter while exploring. My druid character has a strength attribute of 20, and I'm currently in level 3 and decided to stick with chain armor instead of putting on the plate armor I just found. I'm usually 6-10 stones above the inventory weight limit.

The game is too easy as it is IMO, so receiving a bit more damage probably won't be a problem.
